DAM Meathead

I have always loved those misty, hazy, mysterious vintage amps.. Especially those loud early Matamps and Oranges. You can tell just by the looks of them that they are different.

Anyway, reality check, that particular amp was more like this actually..

I really liked that amp but unfortunately i had to let it go at some point. So, what does all this have to do with the DAM Meathead you might be wondering? Well, it actually has a lot to do with it! As a matter of fact, after selling the amp i was trying to find a suitable replacement for that fuzzy sound the amp produced when pushed. And i can definitely say i found it with the Meathead. Those obscure, fuzzy guitar tones of Sleep, Electric Wizard et al are back with a vengeance. Huge amounts of fuzz, thunderous bass response and violin-like sustain all at once - it really is a great little mean pedal. And to make things a little more spicy, i decided to have both Standard and Dark versions of the pedal available with the flick of a switch.

As you can probably imagine by now, the nostalgia of the Green Matamp paved the way for the pedal aesthetics. Combine that with the unmistakable 'Om' graphics and i think we have an eye candy..

Ooooommmmmm....
