Rothwell Love Squeeze

I am not really into compressors to be honest. Even after years, i had not gotten over how much the Boss compressor i had for a week destroyed my tone. I was very skeptical about this one, but after reading many favorable reviews and seeing how much i liked all Rothwell products i have tried, i decided to build one for myself.

Fortunately, my faith in compressors has been restored. I really understand why they call this pedal 'the compressor for players who don't usually like compressors'. Without sounding excessively intrusive to the original tone, it delivers everything a good compressor should - constant volume output, snappiness, a nice blossom in the pick attack and a little sustain. What i really like about this pedal is that it can be set to have a subtle effect and that was the goal for me.
